Australian Grand Prix 2009

Today marked the end of the first race of the season with 7 retirements in total- unexpected, uncertain, action-packed, frustration. After both Raikkonen and Massa retired due to mechanical problems, I watched on because of Vettel. And there goes Vettel and Kubica! I thought it was super cool for Vettel to press on with only 3 running wheels, showing his undying determination right from defending Kubica to struggling on with a damanged car. But because of that, he suffers a US50,000 fine + 10-place grid penalty for the next race, adding on to his loss of the 2nd place. My condolences. But well, that's just life like what happened with Massa last year. Oh yeah and Schumacher was present too! :)

Anyway, Brawn GP was indeed very impressive with their 1-2 finish on their debut race. But temporary failures sure does not put eternal failures in our lives, so let's await the MGP next weekend. Hopefully, the results will be positive.

Oh yep, it was Earth Hour yesterday while I was having dinner with my cousin at the Satay Club. Finally satisfied my cravings for satays! :) Earth Hour's cool, global efforts turns unity into impact. I think we should have Earth Hour every once a week.

To my dear turtle who suffered a double-blow today:
I know words of encouragement/comfort probably won't help much now, because dissapointment is inevitable. But I still want you to know that there is still a reason to smile because Silver is indeed a very big thing to me, and I'm very proud of you nevertheless. :)

New Face

Idk if you still keep this site on your bookmarks but this will no longer be just a blog filled with posts describing mundane daily routines/meaningless trash that I won't care to review in future, it'll be my collection of all the meaningful memories and thoughts. I have realised how superficial I have been in the past when I reviewed my archives.

It's really time to grow up. I want to be a better person. I want to look at things from different aspects. I should stop being so selfish. I should be truthful to myself. I want to let go of all the meaningless stuff I have been pursuing/grasping so tightly. I will be a better person.

P.S. AGP at 14:00 this afternoon. Let's hope the first qualifying race of the 2009 season will be a good one. ;)
