We Are The World

Michael Jackson Pictures, Images and Photos

I realised how boring life has been these few weeks. The biggest thing that happened was MJ's passing. I still can't quite believe he's dead now. I mean he was such a phenomenon!!! His moon walk, his dance, his songs everything. My dad's quite a fan of him.

His father, Diana Ross, whoever that might be responsible for him to turn out like that, but afterall the choice was his. No matter what, he left his legacy behind, and that's great! :)

The reason why we have never said those 3 words to each other is because they ain't true. Unfortunately, it's not because it is heartfelt and that need not be expressed in words. Yes, that's how pathetic it is. The truth kills.

Suddenly, I feel like Tom Wingfield. I want to go to the moon. Maybe not, just anywhere but here right where I am now. I can't wait to get out.
Anything that can blow your candles out.

I love you my friends, and for that, it's absolutely true, w/o a doubt.

I realised:
Time crawls when you're doing things you abhor.
And you abhor things you suck in/have no idea how to do.

P.S. I love you sbf/esme/lisa!!! :):):)

British GP

This weekend couldn't have been better. Was out to celebrate Father's day so I only managed to catch the last 3 laps of the race!!! Luckily, I had live updates from Huiyan. Anyway, I swear watching Vettel cross that finishing line was better than taking drugs/endorphins wtv. It's like joy/excitement/bliss you can't comprehend.

MASSA + VETTEL

And Massa had such a great race to, he climbed 7 positions up to 4th!!!!!! Just missed the podium by a bit. Awww, I really miss seeing him on the podium, but nevertheless it was such a great achievement. I'm so proud of Massa and Vettel. They're really my best judgement.

:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

---------------------------------------------------------
SEBASTIAN VETTEL!!!!!!!! \m/
That was totally a flying lap, nobody could have beaten that. Before the commentator shouted "P1 for Sebastian Vettel!" I already leaped for joy when I saw the red little thing with the digit 1 popping up beside "S Vettel". No way Webber or Barrichello could have snatched that away. If only Massa had gotten into Q3, then everything would have been perfect. But I believe he'll still end up w points tomorrow. :):):)

I might just be right, Button is never going to bring home the title from his home race, so is Hamilton.

Ahhhh munyeee, I'm super eggcited about our overseas-shopping trip!!! Be it Bangkok/ HK / Shanghai or anywhere. Yes, there are still 5 more freaking months but the excitement is hard to contain.

I know I ought to be hitting the books now. My revision plans has been going no where, no where at all. I've only started on my first subject (Physics) and I'm not even half done with it. Arghh so much to do, so little time left!!! Jessica concentrate!!!

Ok, i'm gg back to my books.

M+J

I'm really very very very contented today!!! :):):)
Caught Ghosts of Girlfriend Past, not exactly the best movie, the story was moving a little too fast, but it was a good catch. We gorged ourselves with Superdog, Toastbox whatever, shopped our hearts out and took loads of pictures. And I saw Alexander Wang's collection @ Gap!!! Of course, Vena Cava's too. Not a big fan of Khaki, but Alexander Wang!!! I really couldn't bear to go home. This is what everyday of the holidays should be like.

I (L) YOU MELISSA FOO!

Ancient Chinese playing Western snookers w/ a feather duster + peaches. LOL.

-------------------------------------
For the past week, we had holiday lessons in school, for not more than 4 hours a day, and lovely lunch with a few friends after that. It has been a joy, how I wish school will always be at this pace.

Oh yes, I was at my Grand's a few nights before for dinner and we suddenly started this topic about Mao Ze Dong. Apparently, my granny h8s Mao Ze Dong to the core and she was lecturing us on China history. Omg, I laughed till my stomach hurt so bad. (Deng Xiao Ping FTW!!!)

Yesterday, when we were having dinner at Marina Sq, I spotted this ang moh sitting at the next table with a Raikkonen-like tattoo!!! (P.S. CX!!!) He was having xiao long baos too. Actually, the ones at Din Tai Fung are way better, compared to this Imperial Treasure shit. Hahaa, I guess that's the only consolation for having dinner there. And my dad said that my red-ribbon hairband is very childish. :( :(

F1 Update:

I saw this comment on the Ferrari's FB group:
Max Mosley + Bernie Ecclestone = Asshole + Senile Asshole

God damn, I hate those two. So what if they're F1 supremos?! Yes, Ferrari would not have become what it is today w/o F1 but F1 is nothing, i would say NOTHING w/o Ferrari today. I can't comprehend why FIA wants to continue with the dispute. If Ferrari's really gone, it'll be time to mourn over the death of F1 unless they're able to survive with the measly 5% viewers left? Furthermore, we're talking about everyone else except Force-India and Williams now.

Hahaha, I love reading those comments on the 100% Anti-Lewis-Hamilton group too. They're funny, amusing, and unfortunately, true.

What's Up

Have been indulging in good deal of reading lately, of all kinds, sadly except for the textbooks. It's a joy to read the old issues of F1 Racing, esp the issues on Massa's Schumacher-like winning streak. Last weekend's Turkish GP was a sure disappointment after the result from qualifying. And Massa: Unbeatable @ Istanbul was proved wrong when Button stole the title for the 4th year. So close to joining the elite group with F1 phenomenons Senna/Schumacher, yet it seems so far away now. Apart from elitism, the Turkey GP was like "home" race. Arghhh, it sucks being played out by fate.

Someone has to steal the title for Silverstone from Button and maybe Hamilton!!! The disappointment of not winning your home race, it sucks more than anything else, you can't make up for that even if you win every other race.

Apart from the usual F1 craze, there's a lot happening recently. Attended 3 birthday parties/dinner over the last weekend and of course, they were delightful. Photos are on FB, I'll update if I've have time, damn lazy to upload on Photobucket.

School tomorrow, will end here.

Retail therapy don't work all the time.

It's true, sometimes, money can't buy happiness.
Define happiness.
Happiness is being free to do what you love with people you love.

When Chinese O'levels was over, I wasn't as relieved I should have been.

Today out w/ Kh and we did all my fav stuff. Lunch at HK Cafe and we combed almost the entire town. Awesome company, good food, v.fruitful trip but I wasn't as excited as I should have been.

Yes, this is a weird phenomenon that has just hit me. The thought of all the homework/past-year papers crap, the approaching myes was just so overwhelming that it killed all the excitement I should get from retail therapy, from spending time w/ people I love. It is really very, very frustrating. Play used to be just pure play but now it's contaminated with such thoughts. I reckon this is really stress at its saturation point.

But this might be a good thing, because joy and happiness can't and shouldn't come from spending money and buying things you want. I realised how shallow I was in the past. I think I've done good reflection today and I'll be a better person and better friend in future. :) I see the motivation coming to me now, somehow, I think I can manage all this crap that we've to go through and still come out alive kicking and even stronger.

Turning in now. Tomorrow will be a better day and thank you Kh for today, it was still fun nevertheless. :)

Sbf/Kh:
I haven't exactly been the bestest friend, but thank you for still being my bestest friends. (L) And yes, Kimbum haha!!! :)

Relief

Chinese O'Levels has finally gone with the wind!!!
:) :):)
Thanks Sarahp/Turtle/Esme for your photoframe/goodluckcharm/drawing and everybody else who texted to express your best wishes, it really went into my heart. I love you guys. Thanks for all the sweet things that you all have done!!! :)

I guess I'll miss Chinese Intensive after all w/ all that gorging of Honeystars/Jagabee/Prawn Crackers/Pocky/Babystar/wtv everyday, even though 4 hrs of Chinese a day almost killed me.
And I think I'm going to miss school after staying away for a month. Yes, you got this coming from me.

Post-exam celebration: Swensens + Night In the Museum 2

I've already set my eyes on the stuff that I want to get, I can't wait to go shoppingggg! :)

----------------------------------------------

You never know how much it hurts me to realise how little you knew about me,
or bothered to.
Times changes, people change,
but I guess I can't cope with your change.
Perhaps you were always like that,
you were just acting like yourself.
In any case, I should have known you better.
